the myth of the clean Scottish nation

I think Reform are basically stuck at 25-30% of the electorate at the moment and are trying to appear more "moderate" to expand their base as that won't be enough for a durable majority. See their statement about the Online Safety Act too. They're backed by American Christian fundamentalists at the end of the day so you can't trust this one bit.

who knew that this is what happens when you put faith in a Democrat? we've never seen anything like this before. usually the grassroot candidate goes way left after getting elected, not the other way around! anyway, let's make sure that this strategy gets replicated across the country...

They've been trying to build up drone production according to reports but it's very difficult when the zionists are free to bomb them and the Lebanese "state" just lets it happen. It's a very difficult situation for Hezbollah.

idk it's probably fair to hope that the state wouldn't attack the force that has defended Lebanon time and time again from the genocidal invaders, but i guess the geniuses in the government think that they can be another Jordan, rather than this leaving themselves defenceless against an entity which was trying to annex the south of the country literally within living memory

Hezbollah made a lot of mistakes but the traitorous backstabbing on display here isn't anything to do with those i think

no if you're using something to process food in a professional setting and you're not cleaning it regularly then that is a hazard. especially with raw meat. bacteria will grow and be deposited on the food and cooking doesn't just destroy every pathogen, let alone spores. also if they're not cleaning that then it really raises questions about what other hygiene regulations they're not paying attention to. Ramsay rarely criticises without good reason, he plays up the anger for the camera in the US and that's not a good way to be but he's a world renowned chef for a reason.

also scientists basically love it when current science can't explain something bc it means they can debate and design experiments and try to coax out new theories of how the world works. like the Hubble tension. Dumbasses will be like "omg arrogant scientists are ignoring this huge hole in their theory about the origin of the universe", but actually most cosmologists would be sorely disappointed if it turns out their current theories of the Big Bang can explain it after all and there isn't new physics to be discovered there.
