Moving's starting to feel real. Going to sign a lease tomorrow. Getting in as much time as I can with all the important people. Lots of "lasts" happening recently. There's still a hold on hiring for general music positions, but that's not even at the forefront of my mind at the moment.

I've actually never been in a court room that was currently in use - so I guess a few minutes here and there while touring historic buildings? I'm 38 and have somehow managed to never have to go in for jury duty.
I can feel this.
That's fair, I personally wouldn't use the word spiritual for those things either, but I think it just comes down to a difference of opinion.
Interesting, how do you define spirituality?
I personally don't think something is spiritual just because it can't be measured.
Oh I'm certainly not advocating for forcing anyone to get rid of their religion (I'm not advocating for anything at all). It just struck me as interesting that you can't imagine a world without it.
I cannot imagine the world without religion, as human beings tend to be spiritual
I'm curious about this. I was raised somewhat religiously, but at this point, I can't imagine myself with religion, or spirituality, or any of it. Why do you think it's so essential?
I use Jerboa and it works just fine for me, but I honestly haven't bothered to compare it with others. This is Beehaw, a lovely corner of Lemmy.
There is an amazing Pink Floyd cover band in Albuquerque called Pink Freud. I might have seen them for the last time tonight. I'm not sure what to do with that.
Probably the same ones that decided that teachers should parent their kids.
That was so fucking eloquent, and I'm the opposite of that right now, but thank you. This gives me hope.
