There are some tools out there to rip the DRM out of those.

Edit: Scratch that. It worked for less than 24 hours and went back to not connecting again.

To answer my own question, I hadn't updated the firmware on my printer as it has been working fine so I just didn't see a need to.

Went ahead and updated just in case and voila it started working.

Looks like Bambu is locking that functionality down behind the firmware version. As I didn't see any notes in the update log pertaining to the camera so that's the only thing that comes to mind.

This is the point here.

Many people have no idea of the infrastructure and costs needed to run many of these servers that provide services to people.

I disagree with things like Adobe basically using it for DRM but have no issue for services that are literally serving millions of people and providing something worthwhile that the majority of the population would otherwise not know how to do on their own.

There is some nuance to it, like offering a service and then slowly creeping costs up or adding an advertisement tier and dropping everyone to that etc is crap. But in general, if they are providing a decent service then I don't really have a problem with it.

That's interesting.

Here is a better link for it that isn't pushing Google products. Not implying you are doing that, just wanted to provide a non Google link is all.

If I overdraft it pulls from another account that I have. I still get hit with an overdraft charge even though there was money in the other account to cover it. It's not necessarily as simple as you say.

You could bring up the argument of changing banks, but aside from that one issue, the bank I use has done really well by me, to include reversing a debit (not credit) card charge when there was a bad charge.

Realistically, the overdraft charge should be eliminated and banks just shouldn't allow the charges to go through unless there is a separate account that has money to cover it.

Have you checked out Medela, we used one of those a couple years back and there was no app involved. No data collection, just plug it in and go.

Yeah, my primary is Kubuntu. I have windows on the side for the few games I have that I need it for.

Why don't you just use control panel?

I never use the windows settings menu unless I absolutely have to because, like you insinuated, it's really not that great.

Control panel on the other hand is still there and will get you exactly where you need much quicker.

Weird, I suppose it makes sense though as I only really use Google if I absolutely have to which is almost never. So I likely wouldn't have noticed it if I didn't see it here first.

I'm on 121.0 mobile and have no issues accessing Google.com. Not that I use it anyway but figured I'd test.

+1 for Connect app on Android. Got booted out and unable to log back in.
