Nope. Not buying that one bit. Look up threadiverse and you get zuckerverse sites as the top results.

Searching for fediverse and the first result is https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fediverse

You're both shipping for the zuckerverse.

Cool. Hiw about a national tax exempt status followed by a general strike. Starve them out.

Have you even said thank you?

The FCC hasn’t really punished anyone for not having a license other than those that are really bothersome/disruptive or are doing jamming. But like, if there’s civil unrest, the laws probably don’t matter anymore so you can just ignore the law.

Thanks for reminding me of this movie. :D https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pump_Up_the_Volume_(film)

Yes, Rafael suffered a 99-1 loss. Guessing he's the 1, so a total loss.

Who'd have thought WWIV was so prescient as to when it would become re-relevant.

Time to dust off my SysOp skillset lol

I moved there from Saint Louis, Missouri in 2005. Having grown up in a conservative family in a state that went from purple to red while I was growing up...arriving in Seattle I finally felt sane and able to breathe. I have no regrets about the move back to StL but also cannot wait to return to where my heart and soul still reside.

Formerly and future. I was back visiting with my family.

And now we have a plan to move up there.

Mission success.

That's in Seattle's Post Aleey right off the Pike Place Market. People put up art and posters all the time. It'll be pasted, painter, or drawn over before being pulled down.

I mean, maybe some assholes like the Texas family at the airport that told their kids to hold it instead of using a unisex bathroom with floor to ceiling walls and doors on the stalls (like civilized countries do). They might tear it off the wall, but only when no one is looking because they're cowards.

In the USA? Feudalism

I made the leap and ditched Windows and made the switch. I'm not married to Pop! OS, it just happened to be the first distro I tried and has been mostly a breeze setting up and getting used to but I do have a couple issues I wasn't able to resolve this weekend. Hoping someone else has seen similar.

  • Cannot add library in Steam: this is likely due to me misconfiguring the drive, mount, or fstab. When I try to add a drive in Steam it allows me to browse the drive and select a folder but then nothing is actually added to Steam. The drive was newly formatted with 2 partitions, both ext4. Unfortunately I am at work and cannot get blkid, df, fdisk, fstab, etc. but my hope was someone had found a better guide than the ones I have tried thus far.

  • Helldivers 2 audio issue: crackling and audio cutting out.; from what I've read it sounds like a throughput issue with the sound server (POP OS default is pulse audio). I came across a couple guides for troubleshooting audio issues with HD2 in Linux that sought to address this with pulse audio and others for pipewire but none of those ended up being helpful. Again, the hope is someone here has had a similar experience and can share what helped them or get me pointed in a good direction for troubleshooting.

I was going to buy a clown loach but the local store's delivery was delayed.

Edit to add: I forgot that I bought some bib coveralls on my way home.

Has anyone else had issue with nigh invincible harvesters marauding through all manner of bombardment? Shield down, I've seen them take every orbital and eagle without being destroyed. Not all at once, mind, but I have seen them take more than a factory strider and walk it off without even losing a shield antennae.

I've bullseyed one with a RR rocket and a full commando and they kept coming.

Any tips? I know the legs are a weakpoint but I don't seem to be hitting the right places. Laser cannon is the only reliable weapon I've found but requires multiple cooldown periods to fully cook one which is just too much time.

Recently planted this aquarium with stems and mosses. This long thin green moss-like plant showed up and I like the look of it. Hoping ot is something I can cultivate and use for a hanging vine effect on my driftwood and not a pest plant. Any help is appreciated.
