C'mon, balkanize already.

Congrats on normalizing to 2017 dollars, however the graph starts at a misleading 260 billion, not zero. I was always told it's considered bad form not to include the little squiggly break lines to show that on bar graphs.

So if the amount spent went from roughly 340 billion to 380 billion, ~10% increase, but the cost/quantity*quality of that food (which is difficult to calculate because of shrinkflation, shittier quality generally, and different items being on the menu) has easily gone up 25% at an absolutely uncontroversial low end, that proves the opposite, that people are eating fast food less than pre-covid.

After the revolution I want his nobel prize taken and awarded to me.

When liberals ask "do you believe in the ltov?" they're poisoning the well by implying that Marxism is some completely unscientific religion. No, the LToV is more like a definition of what Marx means when he says "value" and libs love to smugly say "that isn't what value means according to xyz though" okay then we're talking about something else aren't we?

I mean I personally find the ltov to be more a more useful definition than other definitions of "value" because of what Marx does with it but to understand that you would have to read Capital and that's too much commitment for a smuglord's twitter post.

Understanding things in context was another thing Marx was big on so I'm positive he meant it to be taken that way.

And the reason for them being less famous is described in the post.

She knew the waist size of every person (particularly kids) in the area, and would drive around with boxes full of jeans. She would mend, patch, and fit them, and collect any unwanted, worn out, or outgrown denim

rat-salute-2 to you, jean lady, my hero.

The primary reason Firefox use needs to be pushed is because it has the only rendering engine that is not chrome's. If Firefox dies that gives Google 100% freedom to set every web standard as they please. Every other web browser is a chrome skin, including edge, including opera, etc. The second companies think they can get away with dropping Firefox support they will (some already have, like tandem, the company that makes my insulin pump)

If no one talked about politics then how did you know about the biker guy's politics? Probably more like "we shared right leaning trueisms common among comfortable white suburbanites, and I didn't recognize them as political at the time"

I go to the grocery store and tomatoes will be randomly $7? And next week it's something else. It's like a rolling brownout for the economy.

Sometimes I feel like (our particular brand of) Christians are getting too powerful again in the US and we need the reddit atheists to return, but then this guy opens his mouth.

It doesn't work if you don't walk away after that, then you become the wojak-nooo

I'm going to go against the flow here and say BTRFS. It's stable enough to the point of being a non consideration. You get full backups using a negligible amount of storage. Even using it on Windows is easier than using ext4 with the winbtrfs driver.

Yes! Release yourself from the fetters of bourgeois English!

This is a key element to why we're so based

There are a handful of topics that would be effectively impossible to talk about anywhere else because of the minefield of reactionary thought terminating cliches baked into Western culture. That is, so long as we didn't just have a struggle session boarding that topic.
