That is so dumb. How would such a small group have that much pull? It seems like gooners would vastly outnumber them.

I remember a bunch of games that let you be in the gray areas but they only incentivize the extremes.
There seems to be a new thing where countries negotiate a cease-fire and then just immediately start launching missiles as a treat.

Kinda. It’s also a remnant of the old west. Guns were freedom, protection, power, etc.
It would be much more effective to curb crime by meeting everyone’s basic needs than giving everyone a gun.
But dumb Americans don’t know any other way. They are just too self-centered and absorbed to think about anyone else.
