Sounds like a dangerous job, they might be asked to round each other up at the end of it.
I agree, Democrats arent my favorite source either.
Earlier this week more than 170 charities and other NGOs called for the GHF to be shut down. The organisations, including Oxfam and Save the Children, say Israeli forces and armed groups "routinely" open fire on Palestinians seeking aid.
Israel denies its soldiers deliberately shoot at aid recipients and says the GHF's system provides direct assistance to people who need it, bypassing Hamas interference.
The GHF says it had delivered more than 52 million meals in five weeks and that other organisations "stand by helplessly as their aid is looted".
The Israeli military launched a campaign in Gaza in response to Hamas's 7 October 2023 attack on Israel, in which about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others were taken hostage.
At least 57,130 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the territory's Hamas-run health ministry.
Ok, one thing stands out to me about this article, let me dig up a reference...
edit: https://www.owenjones.news/p/bbc-staff-were-forced-to-do-pro-israel
More than a hundred BBC employees have written a letter to the director general, Tim Davie, complaining that the Corporation has become a mouthpiece for Israel.
It was also signed by 300 other journalists and media professionals: one of them was yours truly. The BBC employees, as you would expect, are all anonymous, because otherwise they would face grave consequences to their careers.
While sentences such as ‘Hamas run health ministry’ are woven in as standard to undermine faith in the death toll in Gaza, basic facts like the International Criminal court issuing arrest warrants against Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defence minister are not.
Trump asked her to repeat the first part of her question, to which she clearly responded: "Is there a specific timeframe you expect the detainees to spend here?"
But the president still appeared confused by the question as he went on a bizarre and lengthy monologue about how much time he'd spend in Florida. "I'm gonna spend a lot. Look this is my home state, I love it, I love your government, I love all the people around," he said.
He didnt recognize the word "detainees."
\story, IMO
Oh, yeah, that part.
So, like the SnoopSnitch app on F-droid? https://github.com/srlabs/snoopsnitch
Hasn't been updated in 3 years though
Isn't that where it'd shine? An organization could host their own Lemmy and anyone who has an account on any other instance can interact
I don't see any listed on lineageos.org? I would love to get one again.
I had one of these Unihertz keyboard phones before. Comes with bloatware and the typical Android restrictions for removal. No 3rd party OS support. I ended up returning mine after a couple weeks.
Emphasis mine.
Now see, the first emphasis is not actually equivalent to the second. Therefore, the headline is false.
In the first sentence of the article, they link to another of their own articles from July 4th which proclaims "Donald Trump Gets Polling Boost From Hispanics" wherein they reveal "Trump's net approval rating among Hispanic voters stands at -30 points, with 32 percent approving and 62 percent disapproving. That is up from a net approval of -37 points in May, when 26 percent approved and 63 percent disapproved."
Sure, Trump is getting "boosted" by 4% more Hispanic voters deciding they like him at the same time 1% more Hispanic voters decided they dont.
Oh yeah, and then at the end of the linked article they shill for DHS' app and cash offer? WTF, Newsweek?
