I've run Zorin for about a year for my 13yo's gaming machine. Most games are through Steam w/ Proton, and almost nothing has been impossible to run. (Except Roblox so f Roblox I guess)

You are technically correct, but the practical thing to do is abandon the term when it's not forced/tragic. No reason to rehabilitate the term.

And a fun but important fact is that genetic and heritable diseases are not necessarily the same. I went too long as a clinician conflating the two: https://www.veritasint.com/blog/en/difference-between-genetic-and-hereditary-diseases/ (corporate link but correct and well written)

17+ years for me. November would be 18. Since the exodus, Reddit looks like a shadow of itself, but that could be that I only see the frontpage now. What a shame.

You could use foobar2000 with "Album Art Grid View"

Edit: Ah, freeware (BSD license) but not open source.

Cory Doctorow bookends my use of reddit. About 20 years ago I started to read him at boingboing, where I learned about del.icio.us (he had an obsession with "folksonomy", or organization by user-created tags), the social bookmarking site. From there I learned of reddit and made an account soon after that was possible (it was just the frontpage for a bit). That was 5 Nov 2005, and while I thought I would stay until or after my account was old enough to vote in the US, I've let it go. I was user #497, same username as here. Finally, Cory D's concept of enshittification has found it's apotheosis, and it's a bittersweet goodbye for me.

Thanks for reading. Keep it human.

Just wanted to know what people think about the new Pacers roster and how it might do in the East in the coming season and afterward. We don't normally see a lot of Pacers discussion, but I think the moves recently have been interesting, if not inspired.

What do you think?
