The fact that it's just lemmy.world and not other instances being attacked, shows some kind of personal gripe

You have a better chance of meeting people inperson than an open source dating app

My comment is visible from lemm.ee (https://lemm.ee/post/3556301), but not from the most important instance lemmy.world (https://lemmy.world/post/2878779). Am I being deceived?

Can confirm, it worked! Although I don't understand the niche technicalities myself

There's always someone on the internet who has had the issue. I will mark this as solved. Thanks for your time!

I usually download ebooks from Anna's Archive and transfer it to my Kindle through the service. But 1/10 times it fails, with no apparent reason. The particular ebook in question is https://annas-archive.org/md5/e310a253a9d85992129cc2b8dd351556. What's the way out?

After the back button is pressed, or a similar action that triggers change of pages, it takes a second or two for it begin the transition animation. Makes it seem like the app is stuck. Can you tone it down a bit?

Edit: I'm only experiencing this issue when using Voyager as a PWA using Brave, not with the Voyager app from Play Store

Edit 2: Not experiencing the issue on Chrome PWA. Previously I was using Brave PWA

I see myself commenting more cheerfully. Shows that the user interface can make loads of difference

Votes, even though unimportant still psychologically affect me. Feels like I'm discriminating against the particular post/comment for not judging it based on just the content

The real metric is the OC to bot ratio

[-] trimmerfrost@lemm.ee 162 points 11 months ago

Scraping bots make lemmy seem like a cheap repost bothouse. I am here for actual human conversations!

[-] trimmerfrost@lemm.ee 21 points 11 months ago

This is genuine issue with the fediverse. Many instances could gang up and defederate from an instance and all the voices on that instances are essentially censored, like a typical centralised social media
