I see there are several different ways to install OSRS on Linux - flatpaks, Android emulators, Steam, etc. - but can anyone recommend the best as far as ease of setup? With lack of glitches being the second priority?

I have an AMD GPU that is quite recent (<5 years)

Happily playing modern games and developing shaders on my AMD GPU. 5120x1440 120 Hz issue free

Pre-smartphones, my parents were always yelling at my brothers and I to stop texting at the dinner table.

Post-smartphones, it's now vice-versa and unless we remind them to put their phones on silent beforehand, their phones inevitably erupt in alarms at full volume reminding them to call Marianne back or whatever

I used to work in medical imaging and weirdly pedantic people would say this all the time about digital photography. They say that even just the act of Debayering makes it artificial

It's my turn to set the Community Challenge for this week...

Theme

This week we're doing theme via creative constraint. Make whatever you want, you just can't use characters. More specifically, no characters, named or unnamed, from any stories, songs, games, etc. That includes mash ups.

You can definitely still have people, you can still use tropes, and even create your own totally original characters. Just no reusing existing characters, or obvious derivatives

Rules

  1. Follow the community’s rules above all else

  2. One comment and image per user

  3. Embed image directly in the post (no external link)

  4. Workflow/Prompt sharing encouraged (we're all here for fun)

  5. At the end of the week each post will be scored according to the following grid

For those missing the joke: slot jackpots usually have odds of winning of like 1:1000, so every thousandth person should win...

... if you don't understand probability. Games on a slot machine are mutually exclusive, so those odds apply to one independent game, not all games played as a whole
