Much easier to bring it to a handful of carefully chosen devices with standardized hardware first. Also there are great distros for desktops that essentially do the same already, like Bazzite, ChimeraOS and Nobara

Last versions of 15 and 16 both got security updates in 2024. We'll see if this will change to 16/17 this fall, or if they update 15 still.

With Nvidia it's usually that with newer gen (first number), performance is similar to last gen card from one tier up. So 4070 performs equally to 3080. Super and Ti are steps in between

Gegen nicht abgeholt macht mal nix 💁🏻‍♂️ Aber als Faustregel braucht man meist weniger Profil als gedacht. Gummimischung und Luftdruck zählt mehr. Siehe Roubaix
