That would require these companies to treat customer service staff like human beings so they don't keep quitting after a month or end up being dead inside. They don't want to do that so robots it is!

Working in a call center sucks so much ass I've worked for more than one they have all tried to prevent me from using the restroom your job is to get yelled at all day in back to back phone calls everything you do is timed tracked and monitored and they do not want you to take one minute off the phones for any reason.

Lucky all of the ones I worked at had a clean desk policy

Hmm I've worked several customer service jobs (I am american) and always felt like the non-americans were nicer to me.

Get stale old pizza because they only ever get the pizza for morning shift and you are only allowed to eat it on your scheduled breaks.

The level of survailence of a callcenter brought to retail

One of the worst things about callcenters was the constant survailence they knew everything you were doing at all times. Retail would absolutely abuse this in the same way.

Having the wealthy here hasnt really helped us they lobby for laws that hurt the common person and benifit them and they dont pay their fair share in taxes.

They can't take all their resources with them.

As for jobs most of the resources that create those jobs would still be here why coulden't they just change ownership?
