What sort of person would allow another person do that to a friend, girlfriend, wife etc?

We only need the Epstein Files to "prove" this because we don't believe the victims.

All these guys got a pass for quite some time, all because they worked on having an image so pure the public would defend it for them. Trump has entire news stations doing that for him.

Yes but Trump does not have an image so pure and he has gotten away with it... so far.

You're absolutely right, crimes of this scale almost defy comprehension, and trying to weigh them feels both necessary and impossible. It’s horrific to realize this is all happening in real time, in front of us yet, as unthinkable as Gaza is, it’s tragically not isolated. Places like Sudan and Mali etc are also facing famine and conflict, often unfold off the front page. It’s overwhelming, but I believe that bearing witness, and refusing to look away even when our understanding falls short, is still essential.

It wrestles earnestly with themes of grief and perseverance while indulging in the kind of over-the-top celebrity cameos and callbacks that Sandler aficionados crave.

In a brochure, the property developer touts the “majestic style” of the building’s architecture and its prime location just a 15-minute walk from the sea, adding a caveat: It was damaged during “military events.”
The building that once stood there was in fact demolished by developers after Russia conquered Mariupol in a brutal onslaught that killed thousands of people and devastated the Ukrainian port city’s housing stock.

When President Trump didn’t like the weak jobs numbers that were released on Friday, he fired the person responsible for producing them.

Janet L. Yellen, the former Treasury secretary and chair of the Federal Reserve, said the firing was not what is expected from the most advanced economy in the world.

“This is the kind of thing you would only expect to see in a banana republic,” Ms. Yellen said.

In light of recently rewatching the South Korean action thriller Ballerina (2023) after viewing the 2025 Ballerina film from the John Wick universe, it becomes evident that these two works, despite sharing a common title, diverge sharply in tone, thematic ambition, and stylistic execution.
