They're here because they couldn't handle reddit anymore. We're here because reddit couldn't handle us anymore.
Also they couldn't handle reddit anymore so they came here and immediatly started trying to recreate reddit.
They hate Reddit because Spez and Great Man Theory, not because of the actual structure and profit motive.
Also they hate reddit because of capitalism but don't realize that and consider themselves capitalists.
"I hate how this website has gone to shit, injected adds into everything, and censored everything that isn't squarely within the Overton window.
Time to pack up and go to a website coded and maintened by literal communists and call everybody who thinks the democrats suck tankies."
Yep, mentioning Marx becomes a struggle sesh. They are ultras when it comes to leftism, and right wingers when it comes to the US.
Classic liberal self importance.
"Everybody else should fight a revolution in the exact way I have deemed appropriate."
Worse.
"Every successful revolution is evil, every failed one noble and pure."
Except the color revolutions destroying the USSR, those were wholesome and pure
Yep, whatever aligns with Imperialist interests.
Isn't that why they're just copying everything, re-writing it can calling it sublinks?
in java
AbstractDefaultLiberalismFactoryDelegate.java
why learn rust when everyone knows and totally loves java?
My favorite part is them asking for Go language writers cause I think it ended up being mostly done in go. At least was major % of their repo last I looked
We are not the same.
Yeah, we're cool and they're mad about it
By embracing BBS Forum Web 1.0 thought we continue to frustrate The Reddit Reconstructionists. I've lived in the late 90s through mid 2000s online and can say, it took the concerted effort of MySpace Brian, the Facebook Android, whoever sold Twitter to Elon Musk and a whole hell of a lot of money being intentionally poured in to defeat the force that was enteenched in the internet, it can be rebuilt and they don't have the sauce to do it again, let alone reddit wannabes. Like a tree planted on water.
