Meat and other ingredients on a tortilla, but often without traditional mexican ingredients like beans
Ie, gringo tacos in my house were made with meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Essentially a burger on a tortilla.
I’m definitely guilty of doing that. Picked up the habit from when I lived in the US and have continued doing it since I went back to Guatemala haha
I get teased about it all the time

in a taco???
onions, cilantro, maybe a pickled carrot and a pickled jalapeño, a lime slice, perhaps a little radish, salsa(s)...
but beans?
Apparently the mexicanfamily i ate with was unsuual? They put the bean paste stuff in there
