I'm actually surprised not many of the numerous "Galt's Gulch" attempts done by Randroids have been done in Texas... it's usually some remote island for unspecified reasons.
I'm pretty sure there have been a couple in Texas it's just usually one rich guy trying to declare his 3 acre lot a country
