What even was her answer? I feel like I entered a fugue state, I remember the question but I don't remember either person answering about climate.

She said it was an existential threat and that she was proud to have increased gas production to an all time high.

It was a bunch of rambling nonsense but in the word salad, she implied that natural gas was a renewable energy source and said something along the lines of the US building out renewable energy and manufacturing (which helps, somehow?)

It's absolutely bonkers. If the moderators were actually cool instead of your standard centrist corporate invertebrates, they would've asked if the candidates have any idea what 2 C warming would do to the United States. I would really love to see what the "at least she's better than Trump" crowd would do with being forced to accept that their preferred candidate had no plan, either.
