I want to believe that, but the most recent and particularly disgusting liberal visitor to a Hexbear thread had the .ee suffix. The posting wasn't even about political shit; it was an out of nowhere all out concern trolling offensive in heroic (and performatively apathetic) defense of... fucking Pearl Jam.
Apparently not liking Pearl Jam makes you 12 years old and (ableistic insults here). Also chanting "who cares" and "no one cares" magically banishes the "NPCs" that came there to say Pearl Jam was mid or even sucks. How dare they, in a thread that was about someone saying Pearl Jam sucked.
I saw that person too, though not whatever protracted discourse went down. I'm not saying we can reach anyone anywhere. Hell, I don't think we can reach everyone on Hexbear. I just think we can reach enough people that it's worth a shot.
I want to believe. I don't know enough about .ee suffix people to know for sure.
I know heil.hit.ler is way too far gone, and brogramming.chud is a bootlicking clownshow.
wow who could have anticipated that thread would go places
No one criticizes a liberal's treats without consequences. No one.
There are people that care about Pearl Jam?
Apparently, yes. And those people care so much about Pearl Jam that they performatively "could care less" and get really mad about Pearl Jam getting criticized about chant "who cares" and "no one cares" while accusing the naysayers of being 12. Because maturity is all about performatively not caring and getting mad about it.
