this lower mandible had cut marks proving that neither rank nor status governed who was used for food in those hellish final days of the Franklin expedition.

The Terror is an amazing TV series, and the book it's based on is a really good read too. It takes lots of liberties with historical facts, of course, but it's really fun and creepy.
