You hit the core of what
people often either can't or won't understand; it's about systems, not individuals.
and now that you bring it up i wonder how much liberal capitalitalist hyper individuality and meritocracy contributes to protecting whote supremacy.
Western society does seem specifically designed to slap down all thoughts of analyzing social systems.
This is a primary support system for white supremacy. From it spawns "I got mine, fuck you" and a number of other social poisons that maintains the white supremacist status quo.
When personal identity is perceived as something bought and worn like Twitter flair emojis, it makes being a disadvantaged person seem like a choice.
