Please keep shitposting, bits, and irony to a minimum.
As with all communities posts need to abide by the code of conduct, additionally moderators will remove any posts or comments deemed to be inappropriate.

My job is to make sure that door-to-door canvassers who are in a different state than I am are not slacking off. I call customers that they have noted as "Canvassed," and I have to just confirm that they talked to the person and that they were polite and whatnot. In calling a few of these customers, I've heard some of them make anti-Harris statements when talking to me directly. Most of them came off as a pro-Trump, conservative boomer type of criticism, though. Despite this, whenever I could, I'd sneak in a line like, "Oh, I don't even agree with this organization's endorsement. I absolutely don't support Harris! This is just my job." or something like that, as thankfully, my phone calls are not recorded, or at least that's what they say! They are a pro-worker NPO that has strongly endorsed Harris, but I have not revealed to anyone that works with me that I absolutely do not agree. I'm currently in the process of seeking a new job, not just because of the values conflict being awkward but because this job isn't the most stable in terms of always having active work.
