Update: It is apparently a screech owl and is being taken care of and temporarily residing in a classroom before being transported to a rescue facility.

FYI I was walking around town a couple days ago and found a little metal and glass owl pendant on the sidewalk and thought of you
at the radio station, there is a brochure for birdwatching with an angry bird looking right at me. it makes me think of you
