iirc (from an arguably shitlib source, Homage to Catalonia), there totally were rich people during the spanish civil war disguising themselves as plebeians to avoid getting killed by the anarchists, who just tried to wait out the revolution.

At the end of the day capital ownership is a social relation, and if you are secretly the owner of a factory operated and controlled by the workers, big deal, no surplus value for you, piggy.
