Why do people want to go where they aren’t welcome though? I know it’s downright American af, but still.

That's the thing, every post on rednote like "do you guys want us here" has hundred of responses from chinese IPs like "Yeah, you guys are great", the only criticism I see is that some influencer don't like that the long-form videos they spend 8 hours a day making are getting out-competed by shitposts directly reposted from tiktok, sometimes without even a translation.

spoiler

Oh ok, they’re cool with it. The OP made it seem like they’re annoyed by it.

Chinese propaganda party... you won't hear anything bad about China there... That people just believe this shit on Red... we will see consequences in near für anyway. People want ww3 so hard that's just crazy. Like any trump supporter want that Russia get the power of Russmericans nukes.

Object lesson in how many commas Chinese uses.

Edit: I transcribed it, maybe not perfectly: As far as I can tell the translation is accurate, if a little flowery, but perhaps it reads like that in the original as well.

That quote was just beautiful. I really wish we could just share our experiences with those in other areas without any judgement, and just acknowledge our differences, and similarities as humans.
