The Hong Kong protests happening around the same time as the BLM protests should have opened the eyes of the average lib but did not. These people would gladly denounce China because they grabbed a protestor off the streets who was firebombing things but when protestors were being grabbed off the streets and thrown into unmarked vans in Seattle and Portland they openly cheered for it. When Hong Kong protestors burned people alive they clutched pearls but stood with them because the victim was a China supporter (or just a passer-by). When a murder happened in Seattle they bayed for blood of the entire encampment. Any attempt to point out these similarities and the disparity between their response to them was met with a simple hand-wave, "it's different."

Fuck democrat liberals. I hate them as much as I hate republican liberals.

Also, the Hong Kong protesters displayed no solidarity whatsoever and instead immediately started throwing temper tantrums that the limelight was off of them and started doing extremely racist posts against Lebron James and black people in general.

I mean, they were different. The HK protests were ostensibly to defend against the extradition of a suspectedremoved. The BLM protests were about people getting killed by the police in the street. But, hey context is overrated.

it's so funny when you show Honk Honk Liberals the original case that started it all. They have no idea that their entire movement is to protect a murderer.

And they were also two different countries and two different cultures. When comparing two events they are never the same. It's asinine to point out 1 or 2 differences between them and say they "they are not the same" and therefore cannot be compared. Especially in this case when the criticisms from blue liberals was over the treatment by authorities in one instance vs the other. The comparison is therefore completely fine. I was not comparing the reasons behind the protests and the critiques from those fools was never about that.

Ah, I didn't mean to imply that you were. My point was that 'those fools' rarely knew any of the actual context behind the HK protests anyways. They absolutely can be compared, and should be.
