This subreddit is so heavily bot astroturfed

[–] edward@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 55 minutes ago

well I did my best in the antiwork trenches comrades but the lib brain rot is too much for me so I'm signing off. May another comrade pick up my rifle and continue to fight on after me for fear of being gunned down by hexbear mods for retreating /s. reddit logo

"Hostile foreign government" lol, lmao even. Did the US State Department write this?

[–] ThermonuclearEgg@hexbear.net 6 points 1 hour ago

It actually might have been. Some of the commenters alleged that the head mod is literally a fed

[–] Z_Poster365@hexbear.net 2 points 57 minutes ago

I mean, probably.

The anti-China hysteria is comically over the top, but it’s kinda hard to laugh at the pure delusion

[–] ThermonuclearEgg@hexbear.net 3 points 1 hour ago

At least some of the comments are better now that it hit popular

[–] jack@hexbear.net 15 points 3 hours ago

At least the users are mostly pissed and explicitly pretty China stuff is getting upvoted

[–] pastalicious@hexbear.net 15 points 3 hours ago

Unlike Reddit where the director of policy is a former Atlantic Council ghoul. You know… a patriot.

Quick, someone with a disposable r*ddit account respond by saying "Can we also ban platforms such as Visegrad24 and The Jerusalem Post because Poland and piSSrael respectively are hostile foreign governments" and then follow up by saying you live in any major South African city. Or link a relevant article from Salaamedia/Channel Islam International, maybe it will get called "Hamas/Iranian propaganda". Then when you get banned, call the admin a racist/Boer/Rhodeaboo.

Death to AmeriKKKa, Death to NATO

it's amazing how even when they are acknowledging hatred of their own country they still fall for the propoganda that China is evil and must hate them. ahahahaha.

This is just living in a bubble. I guess that's how libs plan to deal with another 4 years of Trump. Brunch 2.0, just shut the windows and doors, batten down the hatches, and pretend everything is fine. Nothing to see here.

[–] Z_Poster365@hexbear.net 15 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

So … the same thing they did under Biden?

I’m starting to think this is just the default Lib behavior

[–] TheDrink@hexbear.net 10 points 3 hours ago

It definitely is right now, but they've stopped pretending to #resist like they did under Trump and they've also stopped pretending to be socially progressive like they did under Obama

[–] Vampire@hexbear.net 27 points 4 hours ago

They should ban Reddit-related content too.

Funny story. I actually met someone who was a power poster on that sub. They bragged about how a taxi driver refused to drive them because they were being nasty and so they took the taxi driver to court over it. Also kept telling me how “crazy” China is and boycotted live-action Mulan because the actress supported the crackdown on the Hong Kong rioters.

[–] LaughingLion@hexbear.net 12 points 3 hours ago (2 children)

The Hong Kong protests happening around the same time as the BLM protests should have opened the eyes of the average lib but did not. These people would gladly denounce China because they grabbed a protestor off the streets who was firebombing things but when protestors were being grabbed off the streets and thrown into unmarked vans in Seattle and Portland they openly cheered for it. When Hong Kong protestors burned people alive they clutched pearls but stood with them because the victim was a China supporter (or just a passer-by). When a murder happened in Seattle they bayed for blood of the entire encampment. Any attempt to point out these similarities and the disparity between their response to them was met with a simple hand-wave, "it's different."

Fuck democrat liberals. I hate them as much as I hate republican liberals.

[–] Z_Poster365@hexbear.net 4 points 56 minutes ago

Also, the Hong Kong protesters displayed no solidarity whatsoever and instead immediately started throwing temper tantrums that the limelight was off of them and started doing extremely racist posts against Lebron James and black people in general.

[–] TreadOnMe@hexbear.net 5 points 2 hours ago (2 children)

I mean, they were different. The HK protests were ostensibly to defend against the extradition of a suspectedremoved. The BLM protests were about people getting killed by the police in the street. But, hey context is overrated.

[–] Z_Poster365@hexbear.net 4 points 55 minutes ago

it's so funny when you show Honk Honk Liberals the original case that started it all. They have no idea that their entire movement is to protect a murderer.

[–] LaughingLion@hexbear.net 5 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

And they were also two different countries and two different cultures. When comparing two events they are never the same. It's asinine to point out 1 or 2 differences between them and say they "they are not the same" and therefore cannot be compared. Especially in this case when the criticisms from blue liberals was over the treatment by authorities in one instance vs the other. The comparison is therefore completely fine. I was not comparing the reasons behind the protests and the critiques from those fools was never about that.

[–] TreadOnMe@hexbear.net 4 points 1 hour ago

Ah, I didn't mean to imply that you were. My point was that 'those fools' rarely knew any of the actual context behind the HK protests anyways. They absolutely can be compared, and should be.

[–] Z_Poster365@hexbear.net 10 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Guatemala has these types too eh?

[–] Frogmanfromlake@hexbear.net 2 points 1 hour ago

Nah this was in Upstate New York when I visited family there. Guatemalan libs aren’t really all that sinophobic outside of the usual anti-china talking points.

[–] sewer_rat_420@hexbear.net 22 points 5 hours ago

Its true, the chinese people on rednote made fun of how much ice i put in my water and it really hurt my feelings

[–] Parsani@hexbear.net 45 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

So will it be China who gets the blame for Trump this time?

[–] Frogmanfromlake@hexbear.net 27 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

There have been a few “Trump is obviously bought by China” posts since the primaries. Wouldn’t be surprised if they go with this.

[–] Parsani@hexbear.net 22 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

BREAKING: Trump strikes Beijing. Experts suggest this was ordered by Xi.

[–] barrbaric@hexbear.net 6 points 3 hours ago

A brilliant false-flag to justify the Chinese occupation of the continental US and liberation of Guam.

Yeah, hostile to who? this is sinophobic shit.
