That is seriously the problem. All black American idols are just capitalist scum, and consumer fetishism runs rampant in all poor communities, but particularly black ones. People like Killer Mike and JayZ are hailed as heroes for buying properties in their hoods just to charge exorbitant rent, further gentrifying their own community.
