Are you suggesting Gramsci is a bad read?

I just reposted it 'cause I thought it seemed funny. I unfortunately don't know enough Gramsci to have an opinion! What's a good place to start?

You should read Gramsci, he's definitely pretty clear on his analysis of Gramsci. His prison notebooks are all about Gramsci's ideas, so I'd recommend them if you already have some basis in reading theory

Gramsci is pretty clear on his analysis of Gramsci? I think maybe you meant someone else perhaps? Or maybe I am just missing something.

I just think his analysis speaks for itself you know.

he's very similar to Marx in that respect, you really should just read Marx if you want to understand the works of Marx

Well I do think other writers can explain Marx well and Gramsci also, just that Gramsci explains Gramsci pretty well you know? It's where I'd start for Gramsci, at Gramsci explaining Gramsci (I'm just fucking around with our lemmygrad comrades)

I have to concede that Gramsci is a pretty good scholar of Gramsci, possibly even the best due to his extreme familiarity with Gramsci's work
