hmm. I may have found an aussie solution to the water issue - basically we can't run a dry line from downspout A to B the tank because there's a window in the way, no clearance for a fall. And I generally hate wet systems (they end up full of shit, are a hassle to maintain and breed mosquitos like fucking whoa), but there's this baby that just might do it...anyone care to poke holes?
This website is outdated and looks like dogshit so either this thing is absolutely perfect at what it does or is a scam. It's one or the other with no inbetween
TBH that's pretty standard for aussie businesses.
Interesting. Basically a vertical swale with gravity removing the usual debris. I think that small inputs would largely be wasted, cos you'd need a certain amount of velocity to get the water stream hitting the filters, but could be harvested with a conventional swale. I would also assume that there's a way to clean the filters but that's not obvious from the diagram.
for the filter, take it out and hose it from behind.
The smaller inputs intrigue me because this almost looks like a gutter fed ram pump of all things. it builds the siphon then VOOM. if so I'm bloody hooking a turbine up lol.
