I got a bit more news. For the morbidly curious I guess.

More Sad Stuffturns out she had too many genetic faults, Nothing anyone could have done. She wasnt in pain. Thank Christ. I was terrified her previous owner had abused her or we'd failed her in some way. The rescue wont tell us what the vet bill costs so they are just getting a donation in her memory.

Sounds like you gave a kitty with a pre-set bad life a few moments of kindness.

Mmmm. Wish we coulda done more. Guess it just proves how short life can be.

I'm glad you know the cause and know that you did your best for the little soul.

yeah I makes it a lot more tolerable that she always had a finite amount of time and all that could be done was done. makes the time we spent all the more precious.

That’s rough. Poor little girl. At least she was receiving care and indoors. For the short time she had she was fed and loved

Oh yeah in her final days she was surrounded by love and fellow kittens. Lets be real we'd all be so lucky to leave this earth in the same fashion

You absolutely did the best you could for that poor soul. Bless you and MrsBreak and the rescue place for giving these suffering little beings some joy and love in their short lives. It's a true mark of human decency
