Overview:

Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

Still in the top ten for February, so, eh.

Teslas used to account for more than half of all electric cars sold in many countries. The fact that fell to 3% in Germany is a pretty significant drop. Here's hoping we get to 0% in 2026.

I think it's a beautiful irony that Musk sells luxury electric cars but has gone all in on far-right ideology where the supporters are big fans of non-luxury fossil fuel cars. There is a very real possibility the company could be bankrupted in these 4 years as long as we all hold a grudge and refuse to forgive him.

Are these sales or ownership stats?
If it's the latter, that's hardly surprising

These are stats for Neuzulassungen, meaning cars that get a license plate for the first time. So it’s a proxy for sales.

Oh ok, that's disappointing then :/
