Meanwhile, in the city I just get on the train. Going out and then having to drink your drunk/tired/etc self home is miserable.
Drinking yourself home sounds more wild than the party itself, never know what you might get into
That's what we Germans call Wegbier, it's the beer you drink while walking somewhere.
