The mouse from An American Tail?
A Prussian general who wrote a textbook on 19th century military strategy. The only line from him I can remember is something about focusing on protecting the capitol objective instead of spreading your forces thin and trying to defend your entire territory. It was on a loading screen in a Total War game.
That's way less impressive than being a talking mouse.
I know him from the quote "War is the continuation of politics by other means."
Damn, how could I forget that one, that's way more famous than the one I remembered.
The fact that I keep seeing takes like this is starting to make me paranoid that all of human knowledge is fake and nobody ever knew what they were doing.
