I'm only two episodes in but I'm enjoying it. It's not a perfect adaptation of the book but it does a decent job of capturing the "vibe" of the novel, thematically and aesthetically.

100 Years of Solitude is my favorite book and personally I think every leftist should add it to their reading list. The show isn't a substitute for it, but I think the people working on it clearly have a respect for the source material. And if nothing else it very well shot and acted, really beautiful cinematography in it.

Also everyone is very sweaty 🥵
