Chat is a text only community for casual conversation, please keep shitposting to the absolute minimum. This is intended to be a separate space from c/chapotraphouse or the daily megathread. Chat does this by being a long-form community where topics will remain from day to day unlike the megathread, and it is distinct from c/chapotraphouse in that we ask you to engage in this community in a genuine way. Please keep shitposting, bits, and irony to a minimum.
As with all communities posts need to abide by the code of conduct, additionally moderators will remove any posts or comments deemed to be inappropriate.
Thank you and happy chatting!

Absolutely you should. This thing is life changing and I would never do without again.
Before getting a CPAP I was reluctant because I knew it would entail daily maintenance and would limit where I could sleep (need electricity).
After I got it, all of those things were still true but what I didn't factor in was how much better I felt everyday and how small of a price the extra routine was for the huge return in quality of life.
In pre-cpap times I'd need 9-10 hours to come close to feeling normal, and with the gift of hindsight I can tell you that the difference between a good night of sleep then vs now, it's not even close.
