Chat is a text only community for casual conversation, please keep shitposting to the absolute minimum. This is intended to be a separate space from c/chapotraphouse or the daily megathread. Chat does this by being a long-form community where topics will remain from day to day unlike the megathread, and it is distinct from c/chapotraphouse in that we ask you to engage in this community in a genuine way. Please keep shitposting, bits, and irony to a minimum.
As with all communities posts need to abide by the code of conduct, additionally moderators will remove any posts or comments deemed to be inappropriate.
Thank you and happy chatting!

That's fully your choice, and I'll respect your autonomy but i think it's bad. It is actively taking life from you. Just a little bit, but it is.
Just curious but what were your events per hour? My sleep doc/ copd doc says anything over 2-3 flagged by machine is enough to get one. Were your events counted by hand or flagged by machine? Machines have guidelines they follow, anything less than a 50% oxygen drop (quite literally 49% or less) wont even get flagged by an airsense 10/11. Its important to get a good polysomnawhateverist to count them. Im getting to where i can count them by hand when using OSCAR, and a lot of them don't get picked up by my cpap machine.
I'm not trying to talk over you, or discount what you want to do, just bringing some awareness in case you didn't know. I apologize if you already know these things end I'm just mansplaining out whatever.
As I said, the hospital themselves said they aren't going to do anything about it as it's mild. It's not actually my choice. I'm just not arguing it with them as I know I wouldn't wear the CPAP anyway,
