You are abusing your position of authority to delete people's posts because you cannot compete in the Marketplace of Ideas. You are aggressively authoritarian.

Nope. I'll remove posts that don't fit the community tone. And I'll ban people who are just here to troll. Like all the mods of Lemmy do when they are taking care of their communities.

I understand you're unhappy with this. But you're free to start you own communty and mod it as you wish. I wish ya luck with it.

No free speech has been violated at all. The person is not facing legal consequences, professional consequences, or personal consequences for saying something.

They are free to say whatever they want. And I'm free to remove comments that don't fit the tone of this Libertarian community.

And you are free to start your own community on this instance or any other instance.

I've had plenty of comments removed from other communities. I don't remember you sticking up for me in those communities though.

But those other communitees are free to remove my comments because it's their community. And they have. And they have banned me. I don't care. It's Lemmy. It's not that serious.
