Does he also stab things with his chopsticks because he has arthritis and never learned how to use them
I don't think he's ever used chopsticks.
He did once eat a chunk of wasabi while getting sushi because he thought it was an avocado slice that fell out of his California Roll. Granted that was his first time getting sushi.
Everyone makes that mistake the first time. My child did that at age 3
should do like kids and use a mug grip with the sticks straight down out of the bottom of his fist
