That's mostly because he insists on opening his dumb mouth.
He could have just shut up and focused on spending his effectively unlimited money, and would mostly have flown under the radar like the rest of them. Instead, he's made himself a lolcow and lightning rod for (justified) hate, burning tens of billions of dollars in the process.
He's a walking mockery of the concept of the meritocracy that conservatives love so much.
I don't know about that, if anything, I think I have more respect for someone that is openly a cunt than for someone that is a cunt behind my back.
Musk has no idea who you are - it'd be difficult for him to be a cunt behind your back. This isn't an interpersonal issue - he's spent tens of billions to buy twitter to amplify his voice.
...but all of this misses the point - maybe just don't be a cunt.
