Holy shit, they're going to run Biden again.

I'm lathing:

1. Trump gets term limits lifted, but only for nonconsecutive terms; if you're ever elected twice in a row, you're out forever, but you can serve arbitrarily many nonconsecutive terms
2. DemonratSS fail to get a candidate (or a grip) and just run Biden again because they have 50k lawn signs left over from the last time; he wins with 0 votes counted. In his victory speech, he calls Trump a word not heard since 1931 which is both a uniquely virulent slur and also something that conveys that they're best friends, somehow
3. As imperial legitimacy evaporates, Trump and Biden are anointed Sun King and Moon King, trading places every four years, a period known as an election "season"
4. This lasts one or two cycles before one of them dies and the civil theocracy is decapitated by a loose alliance of Pentagon freaks who have kind of just stopped being coy about doing terrorism; the US is divided among these warlord factions. The compromised Westoid media still ranks the US highly on "freedom"
