What's even worse is they could just ask us, and we would gladly explain it to them. But they don't want to hear what we have to say, they've already made up their minds. Every time we try to explain ourselves to them they immediately go full not-listening

It’s kind of telling that their strawman is always portrayed as a whiny loser that is always just auth-right but with role reversal.

Kind of goes to show that they know we’re right deep down when their counter argument is “you just want the same thing I do! How dare you, it’s only ok when I do it!”
