Tom is from South Carolina. There was a whole plotline about him marrying a Canadian woman so she could get a green card.
Oh I wholeheartedly know.
But ICE has and continues to arrest citizens. Not sure if they have gone through with trying to deport them but Trump is on record saying that he wants to be able to deport "undesirable" citizens.
So yeah....Tom might be from South Carolina but he's on the lower half of the Peter Griffin skin color chart.
Yeha I was just thinking that after I posted the comment.
There were a lot of people deported to El Salvdor without trial. So there is no way to know whether or not any of them were citizens.
knowing the people in power, i'd just assume they deported at least one obvious citizen just because they can, to know they've used their power
The rest of the cast often seems to forget that, so the plotline could still work
Yeah for sure... "We gotta stop Trump before he deports Tom!"
