Pretty sure admitting this on Lemmy would cause your immediate exile from polite society so it might be hard to get an honest answer. I think there are a couple trumpers around though so we’ll see.
A slight change to the wording would get answers, though. If it were "If you didn't vote for Harris..."
There are a ton of people here who think (or argued) that Kamala having some bad positions meant she was as bad as Trump. You could look though my comment history and make a list, because I argued with a lot of them.
Admitting you voted for Trump would - as you say - be hell on your up/downvote ratio, on Lemmy.
I live in Connecticut. All of CTs electoral votes are going to go to the Democrats. Our tiny, insignificant number of electoral votes. So it's a waste of time to vote for either major party for president here. Therefore I vote third party. If a third party gets 20% of the popular vote, they're automatically on the ballots and in the debates in 4 years. It's the only way my vote for president can potentially matter at all.
I've noticed that many of those users completely disappeared a day or week after the election, suggesting that they may have been here with a purpose.
