There’s a million billion reasons to knock MacOS, but saying it’s too locked down in a thread about Linux is wild. They’re both Unix based OSes. They’re siblings. If you’re comfortable enough with a command line to terminal your way through managing Linux then you’re capable enough to terminal your way through MacOS and get it to do anything you could get Linux to do.

But there's too much apple bullshit saying "no, you can't do that". Like, let me just open the app i just downloaded goddammit! I'm not a moron!

Also, what the fuck can i even customize? I need a window manager or similar experience.

It's also apple-product only. And the one i hate the most, it's closed source.
