Almond milk ๐
How do you get milk from an almond? It's fucking juice
Juice is reserved for liquids extracted from fruits and veggies. Almonds are neither, they're nuts (well, seed really). It's called almond milk because of it's appearance and texture. the more you knooooow.
But if it is not extracted from them and they are not milked, how do the liquid thingy comes to be?
Almond milk itself is basically just a slurry of ground almonds and water.
So, almond milk is a tea.
No, it's milk. The term "milk" has been used to describe white, creamy, slightly viscous liquids for centuries, and almond milk specifically is listed as an ingredient in many medieval recipes.
Or soup, we could all be talking about soup.
And enzymes! I don't know exactly what and how, but to make a smooth plant milk we all know and not an ugly mixture of water and grinded seeds/nuts enzymes are necessary.
Water
Wdym how? Almonds are nipples of the tree. I thought everyone knew that!
