Not interpreting it correctly. The meme is suggesting that the apologia for Hamas's war crimes and goals by tankies is actually damaging to the Palestinian cause here in the West.

The ongoing genocide is not addressed directly by the meme. The burning town is simply part of the meme template which is used for self-defeating and self-congratulatory actions.

While I agree with your comment that glorifying the killing of civilians is bad, I haven't actually seen anyone doing it. Only screenshot these types of comments, which are are always completely downvoted into the ground, making it seem like a false flag.

It seems like it's just used as a deflection from IDF apologists about how the rest of the world seems to be fine with Hamas killing civilians
