It's misinformation to say that you don't actually have to support one of two genocidal, atrocity-committing sides?
No, this does not make Israel's ongoing genocide 'okay' or less heinous. But, for all my complaints about the Fediverse, thankfully, Israel's ongoing genocide is widely recognized by commenters. Apologia for the murder of civilians and ethnic cleansing, however, is also prominent, and fuck that.

Proposing Israel be genocided in response, or celebrating the murder of uninvolved civilians for being Israeli, also bad.

Nobody is celebrating the murder of civilians. We're just not stupid enough to think that while Hamas did in fact commit heinous acts, this is how it ends every time when the oppressive country shoots peaceful protestors.
israel could have redeemed in 2018 with the Peaceful march to return but instead shot at peaceful protestors and even killed a medic.
I've not seen any communist (assuming you know what tankie even means) with this take at all online or IRL. This is the liberal take in all actuality.
