I always thought having 3 eyes with two on the ends of limbs would be a really interesting and complex perceptual biology.
That would be really cool, but it seems like our sensory organs are all bunched up around our brain and probably for a good reason. Maybe they would have some secondary processing on their limbs like squids have in their tentacles?
The squid aliens in Arrival were pretty good compared to the humanoid ones commonly done in scifi. More invertebrate representation is good.
