For a slightly more contemporary suggestion, I recommend Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band. Lots of fast paced swing/bop with crazy solos. Here's a good starting point https://youtu.be/SV1juxVlpic?si=s8DpmDdE4ljxfxaM
