Now that you've completed both Psychonauts games, do you think playing 1 is a prerequisite for getting the most out of 2?
I'm not who you're replying to, but absolutely I'd say you have to play 1 before 2 - there's a lot of plot points in 2 directly related to the events of 1
that said, it's absolutely worth it
edit: that said, thinking back on it I'm fairly sure there's a whole recap section at the start of 2 - maybe if you're satisfied with that it'll be ok? but either way i'd still say it's a good idea to go back to 1, and tbh a playthrough of it isn't tooooo long
I agree. Or at least watch a recap video of 1. 2 is definetly enjoyable without playing 1 but it is a direct sequel that references events from 1 frequently.
yeah for sure, i just remembered there's also a recap at the start of 2 but I'm not sure if it'd be enough to cover everything well
